Bollywood Stars At Oscars 2017

Oscars 2017 will go down in history for all the last minute goof-ups. The 89th academy awards night is one of the largest and the grandest in Hollywood. However, there are good reasons for us to stand proud of. Bollywood was present at the prestigious event and we need to talk a bit about these stars who are taking India to the world quite literally. This goes to show how well respected our talent is and how beautifully the world welcomes our cinema, our actors and our craft.

Priyanka Chopra – Miss piggy chops has taken the west by storm with her acting skills in mega shows like Quantico and Baywatch. She stepped up on the most talked about celebrity shows and has won hearts all around the globe. We loved her fashion, interview with Jennifer Anniston and her love for burgers.

Deepika Padukone – The queen did not put her feet at Oscars 2017, but she made it a point to turn heads at the after party. Owning the Monique Lhuillier Fall 2017 piece like a pro, the ‘XXX’ actress is now a regular at Hollywood parties and gatherings.

Sunny Pawar – The 8-year old star of Lion clearly was seen stealing the show. He can already speak 2 languages.

Om Puri – The legendary actor who passed away earlier in the year, was given a tribute at Oscars. This was well deserved for an actor who contributed 25 years of his life to Indian cinema giving the most remarkable performances.
